A Livelihoods workshop will be held in Iganga Uganda between 15th and 20th August 2016.
The Theme for the workshop is : Faith to end Hunger
This workshop is one of the many that the programme intends to hold whose agenda is to ensure that Africa is food secure The workshop will focus on reviewing the work done during phase one the implementation of the food security project which will in turn lead to the identification of good practice and rectify gaps in the implementation process.
The workshop also seeks to enhance the capacity of Farmer Resource Persons (FRPs) with skills and planning capacities for the scaling – up process. This will also ensure the FRPs will be able to provide technical support to member churches and farmer’s organisations.
Work plans for each country for effective mobilisation will be developed to ensure improved yields, nutrition and incomes for the households.
